Overview

Physiology is the basic science that deals with the various functions of the various body systems. A state of good health is lost whenever there is loss of normal functioning of one or more body systems. Thus study of physiology helps the students to recognize the abnormality and to diagnose in future. Physiology course includes study of various systems like cardiovascular system, central nervous system, autonomic nervous system, musculo skeletal system etc. physiology subject is taught in the 1st year of MBBS with the help of lectures, demonstrations and practicals.

Facilities

The department has well equipped laboratories to train the undergraduate and postgraduate students where they perform experiments on hematology, clinical physiology, amphibian as well as mammalian physiology.

The department has adequate teaching & technical staff to guide the student & help them perform to the best of their ability.
